Christmas in Denmark is a very cold and busy matter.
Here it is one of the most busy
shopping streets in Copenhagen on the last Saturday
before Christmas. Good thing you
don’t have to do all your last minute shopping there
(well some do...).

City Hall on Rådhuspladsen, a large square in the
centre of Copenhagen,
with the decorated Christmas tree in front.

This is how it CAN look on one of those very beautiful
winter days. This is the view from
Michael’s parents’ house

Snow all over lightens up the dark months.

The next pictures are from Bornholm, the island where
my (Mette) father’s family is from.
Here Michael and I have gone for a walk on Hammershus,
a old fort now in ruins.

The famous ”do-it-yourself” picture.

A forest at Christmas time. Not a lot of green this
time of year.

And finally, New Year’s Eve (click
here for more
pictures. Warning –in Danish!).
The view from the apartment of Julie and Martin in
Aalborg.
